Mahmutlar has a fantastic location 10 km east of Alanya, with the majestic Taurus mountains as a backdrop and the beautiful Mediterranean in the front. Mahmutlar stretches about 5 km, from Kestel to the west to Kargicak to the east, and is one of Alanyas largest suburbs.

Many holidaymakers and property buyers chose Mahmutlar because of its lovely atmosphere and relaxed lifestyle. The area is mainly consisting of private residences and apartments, and not as many hotels, making the place lively all year round, because of the property owners spending their time here at all times of the year, many of them coming here when the weather gets too cold in their home countries. It is also a very international and welcoming environment with residents from many different countries, in addition to the locals.

Mahmutlar is constantly developing, and you can find everything you need for a comfortable life; a large selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, shopping, banks, pharmacies and hairdressers.

For your weekly grocery shopping you can go to one of the larger supermarkets, or visit the bazaar which is held two times a week, and buy your fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, nuts, olives, egg, milk, butter and spices directly from the farmers.

Mahmutlar is surrounded by many farms and banana plantations, giving a wonderful green view, and the beach is clean and beautiful with clear blue water – perfect for your morning swim.

Mahmutlar has a good public transport system, with buses going all day long to Alanya city and the other nearby areas, and a big advantage about having an apartment in Mahmutlar is that the new Gazipasa airport is only a 20 minute drive away, making your travel time shorter and you can spend more time enjoying your holiday.
